Scissor Blind Duck Boat Plans Diy
I just bought another boat and will be building a blind similar to the cabela's northern flight here in the near future. Saw a nifty idea for a scissor blind, think i will replicate. Ray, keep researching, it's a floating blind that's transported to a site by boat, floated & anchored, allowing the boat to pull out and enter repeatedly to make retrieves.

I have posted a link below where the presentation. Figured i would make something custom for my 1542 war eagle jon boat. Go over to the mud buddy site and look at the shaggy blind, has some pics and diagrams of the construction, pretty much like cabelas northern flight blind.
It is the first blind i built and is a basic scissor rig.
I used 8 panels of. Any thoughts on whether a 12' span of 3/4 emt will be ok if only supported by legs on each end? Here are some photos of a scissor blind for a 15ft g3 jon boat. I just recently purchased my first duck boat (12ft flat bottom).
I am looking to build my own scissor blind to cut down costs since pre made versions are so expensive. I have tried the scissor type blinds with alum conduit and it just seems so flimsy. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below. Just finished my diy scissor blind today.

Here is a power point presentation i have been working on for anyone who is interested in building their own boat blind.
I used 3/4 emt, 1 square aluminum tubing for cross members, ss bolts, and new burlap/camo netting. We hunt mostly rocky piers and shorelines so marsh grass is not necessary.
