This is something i wanted to work out on a kind of sliding scale last year, but i wasn't able to crack the code, and so i gave up. I've tested them vigorously and i think i found something that works very well. I would also imagine some positions like db's.

I'm getting literally no subs at all at any position throughout the game. Proper realistic rotations are simply not a thing in this game without brute force. Hi guys, just wanted to post my auto subs for those who aren't familiar with my slider thread.
Make sure you have your depth chart set correctly for your rb1, rb2, and rb3.
During the game, i honestly didn't see any substitutions at all. You must only do this once, as it will save for the next time you play that team. Strategic placement of your backups via formation subs is the way to go.
You must only edit auto subs for yourself and the team you are playing that week. But maybe it's meant to be that way i just have the wrong sub sliders. This despite the fcs team sustaining some drives running flexbone triple option and some timely qb scrambles; Madden 23 sliders once again give players ultimate control over settings for a more realistic gameplay experience.

I've also only had a couple of injuries in. Then set your 3rd down back and your. Sub in = the fatigue level the player. So i’m currently trying out the qb xp slider at 100.
Adjust the slider to change the frequency of quarterbacks being substituted out during the game period. The default is set to 60. So i've been playing madden 23 for the past week and i notice that players don't sub in and out that much, and the players that are 3rd and 4th string on the rosters rarely and don't sub in at. Since this video i was informed that ea “nerfed” the qb progression.
